What is home watch?

Home watch is a service that provides regular, scheduled visual inspections of a vacant homes in the process of being built, waiting for the new owners to move in or seasonally unoccupied homes, looking for obvious problems — leaks, storm or pest damage, HVAC or electrical issues, and security concerns — so they can be caught and reported before they become expensive. It's most common in second-home, snowbird, and coastal markets, and it's different from house sitting, property management, or a home security system.
